Author Guidelines

Pakistan Journal of Health Sciences advises authors to follow updated ICMJE guidelines available at http://icmje.org/icmje-recommendations.pdf before submitting their manuscripts for publication.
AUTHORSHIP
Authorship is recommended to be based on FOUR criteria:
1. Substantial contributions to the conception or design of the work; or the acquisition, analysis, or interpretation of data for the work;
2. Drafting the work or revising it critically for important intellectual content;
3. Final approval of the version to be published;
4. Agreement to be accountable for all aspects of the work in ensuring that questions related to the accuracy or integrity of any part of the work are appropriately investigated and resolved.
It is the collective responsibility of the authors, not the journal to determine that all people named as authors meet all
four criteria; it is not the role of journal editors to determine who qualifies or does not qualify for authorship or to arbitrate or investigate authorship conflicts. Activities like acquisition of funding; general supervision of a research group orgeneral administrative support; and writing assistance, technical editing, language editing, and proofreading alone don’tqualify a contributor for authorship. Such contributors may be acknowledged as a group or individually after obtaining written permission from them.Correspondence author will be the one responsible for communication with the journal in all respects including public responsibility of the work and should be nominated by all the authors.
No more than six names of authors will be listed under the title; other names will appear in a footnote.
