About the Journal

Pakistan Journal of Health Sciences (PJHS) is a scholarly medical journal of Gajju Khan Medical College, Swabi, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Pakistan, carrying ISSN 2522-3445. Research plays a pivotal role in the academic activities of a medical college, where both faculty members and students contribute to the generation of scientific knowledge. Since research remains incomplete without effective dissemination, Gajju Khan Medical College initiated the Pakistan Journal of Health Sciences in 2017, coinciding with the admission of its pioneer batch of medical students. The journal provides a platform for researchers, clinicians, academicians, healthcare professionals, and students to publish and share their scholarly work.

PJHS has a broad multidisciplinary scope and considers quality research relevant to all fields of medical, health, public health, and allied health sciences. The journal publishes original research articles, review articles, case reports, short communications, editorials, and letters to the editor through an online submission and peer-review system. PJHS aims to promote ethical, evidence-based, and clinically relevant research and follows internationally accepted standards of scientific writing and publication ethics, including guidance from the International Committee of Medical Journal Editors (ICMJE) and the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE).
